    2 T. instant minced onion
    3/8 t. garlic powder
    1 1/2 t. salt
    3 T. dried parsley flakes

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients in small bowl and blend well. Put mixture in glass jar with cover and label as Home Style Dressing Mix. Be sure to label and date. Store in a cool dry place and use within 6 months.

    TO MAKE HOMESTYLE DRESSING:
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 T. Home Style Dressing Mix

    Combine mayonnaise and buttermilk; mix well. Stir in dressing mix, stir until well blended. Refrigerate for at least an hour to allow flavors to meld.

    VARIATION: Substitute 1 c. sour cream for buttermilk and use as a dip for fresh veggies.
