Growing up, I'd walk 2 miles to Blankenship's soda fountain just to get a Cherry Coke for a Nickel. Blankenship's soda fountain is no longer there; it was replaced by a Harris-Teeter Grocery store, so now, I make my own Cherry Cokes.


List of Ingredients




1 regular package cherry flavored Kool-Aid
1 ½ cups water
1/2 cup granulated sugar

Recipe



Stir together and keep refrigerated.

To make a glass of good cherry coke, add 2 to 3 tablespoons to one glass of Coke.
