    Start a family tradition by making this a few times each snow season.
    To make this, you need a good, clean bowl of snow, a saucepan, and ½ cup of maple syrup. Bring the syrup to a gentle boil and boil for about 5 minutes or until the syrup has visibly thickened. Remove from heat. Drizzle syrup into the clean snow. It will harden into a kind of candy the kids can eat with their fingers.
