Recipe Introduction
Simple to make, good to eat.
List of Ingredients
1 cup self rising flour
3 eggs
1½ cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. cocoa
3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnutsRecipe
Mix flour, sugar and cocoa. Add remaining items, mixing well. (Batter will be thick.) Grease and flour 9 x 9 or 10 x 10 baking dish. Bake 350 degrees F. for 35 to 40 minutes. Allow to remain in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting into serving size pieces.
Variation: Substitute 1/4 tsp. Almond extract and 1/2 tsp. Orange extract for the 1 tsp. vanilla.
