    Baker's Chocolate

    List of Ingredients




    4ounces unsweetened baking chocolate squares
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
    2 cups sugar
    3 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup flour
    1 cup chopped nuts -- optional

    CHEESECAKE SWIRL
    8ounces cream cheese
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 egg
    2 tablespoons flour

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9"x13" pan. Melt chocolate and butter together over low heat. Stir until completely melted.Allow to cool slightly. In a large bowl, combine chocolate with sugar till well blended. Add flour, eggs, vanilla and nuts, if used, and combine well. Pour into pan. Combine swirl ingredients until smooth. Drop by spoonfuls onto brownie batter and swirl with a knife. Bake for 35 minutes.

    NOTE: For plain brownies, omit cheesecake swirl and bake for 30 minutes.
