    HOLIDAY SCENTS IN A JAR

    Source of Recipe

Rusty, based on various Holiday Scent recipes

    Recipe Introduction

Great for early gift giving. It gives "that wonderful Holiday aroma" throughout the house!

    List of Ingredients

2 cinnamon sticks (You may have to break in half to fit)
    3 whole cloves
3 whole allspice or 1 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice

    Recipe

Put all ingredients in a half pint jar, tie a pretty bow around it (or use a prepared “sticky” bow on top) and attach a card, with the following on it.

    Holiday Scents In A Jar

To use, put the contents of this jar in a saucepan you will not need during the holidays. Add three cups water. Turn on your burner when you want "that wonderful Holiday aroma throughout your house", then turn off your burner, but leave the pan for whenever you want another whiff....then just your burner back on.

NOTE: ALWAYS make sure there is water in the pan!!!! If the water level gets low, you just add water. It should keep going all during the Holidays, although you might like to add a few more spices, according to how strong it still smells, after a week of using. The spices are: Stick Cinnamon, Whole Cloves, and Allspice (whole or ground).

You can use it in your own house, too!
