    PAN COATING

    Source of Recipe

    Recipe Introduction

After trying this, you'll never use anything else for a pan coating!

    List of Ingredients

    3 tablespoons flour
    3 tablespoons cornstarch
    10 tablespoons shortening

    Recipe

    Blend together in a blender.

Use fingers (or a paper towel) to spread coating in or on baking pans. Works great for muffins, too!

After baking, allow cake to stand 10 minutes, then turn out onto a suitable serving disk or wire racks, whichever suits the item you're making. Yeast breads should be turned out onto wire racks right after removing from oven.

Recipe can be tripled (9 TBSP each, flour and cornstarch, and 1 cup plus 7 ounces (or 1 3/4 cups plus 2 TBSP shortening)) and stored for use in a glass jar. Does not require refrigeration.

It really works best, honest Indian!
