    Source of Recipe

Eating Cheap - a cookbook by Peter Bendfeldt

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 large egg
    • cold water

    Instructions

    1. Place egg in a small saucepan.

    2. Pour water into pan, enough to cover egg.

    3. Bring water to boil.

    4. Turn heat down. We want hot water but not boiling.

    5. Cook egg in hot but not boiling water for 15 minutes.

    6. Empty hot water out of saucepan. Refill pan with cold water to cool egg.

    7. REMOVING THE SHELL from egg: After egg has been cooled, crack the shell in a few places. Roll the egg between your hands or on a hard surface. Peel off shell, starting at the largest end.
