Recipe Introduction
These are simple and REALLY good. Super fast too, if you have a stand mixer.
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- cinnamon & sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Throw the butter into the bowl of your mixer. Turn it on.
- Toss in the sugar and eggs.
- Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
- SLOWLY add it to the mixer that is still on. You may want to turn it down to the slowest speed, or you will be cleaning the cabinets.
- Roll into small (or large) balls.
- Roll the balls in the cinnamon & sugar mixture.
- Put 'em on the pan and bake for 8 - 10 minutes. (I bake them only 8 minutes so they will be soft and chewy.)
Final Comments
Grab a cold glass of milk and eat them right out of the oven!
