    1 box chocolate cake mix (not one with pudding in the mix)
    8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/8 t. salt
    2/3 c. chocolate chips (mini works great)

    Follow the directions on the box of the cake and prepare the cake batter. Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, and salt.Fold in chocolate chips. Fill cupcakes 1/3 full.Top with 1 T. cream cheese mixture.Bake at 375.
