    BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE EVER

    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. boiling water

    Milk Chocolate Frosting (recipe follows)

    DIRECTIONS

    Beat butter and sugar together in large mixing bowl; add eggs; beat until fluffy. Beat in vanilla and chocolate. Sift dry ingredients together; add alternately with sour cream to butter mixture, beating well after each addition. On low speed, stir in boiling water. Batter will be very thin. Pour into two greased and floured 9 inch round pans. Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool pans on wire racks.
    Turn out onto racks and cool completely. Fill and frost. Yield-12 servings!

    Icing:

    1 stick butter
    16 oz box powdered sugar
    1/4 c. milk
    6 oz choc chips--melted and cooled
    Mix all together and beat until fluffy! Makes 2 cups of icing.
