    1 cup butter
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    4 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    4 eggs
    1 9-inch, baked and cooled pie shell
    Whipped Cream

    Recipe



    1. Beat the butter with the sugar until it is very well blended, smooth, fluffy and pale yellow.
    2. Blend in the chocolate and vanilla.
    3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, taking 5 minutes to incorporate each and using the electric mixer at medium speed.
    4. Turn the mixture into the pie shell and chill for several hours. Decorate with whipped cream before serving.
