    CRUST:

    1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

    GLAZE:

    3/4 cup powdered sugar
    1 tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. almond extract

    FILLING:

    3/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup butter, softened
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    3/4 cup apricot preserves

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 inch square pan. Stir
    flour, sugar and butter together until crumbly. Press into
    pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until lightly browned.

    Combine filling ingredients except preserves. Spread
    preserves over hot crust to 1/2 inch from the edge.
    Sprinkle filling over preserves. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or
    until lightly browned. Cool. Beat sugar, milk and extract
    until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cooled bars.

    Makes 3 dozen bars.
