My sister was given this recipe by a girlfriend when she taught home economics in high school. It is so delicious that it has become one of her good old reliables.
List of Ingredients
1 cup rice
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cube butter
Recipe
Bring broth to a boil. Add rice. Stir with a fork and cover immediately with a lid. Reduce heat and simmer on very low for 25 minutes. Turn heat off. Melt butter in frying pan. Continue to simmer butter until it is brown and there is no more froth. Add butter to rice and recover until you are ready to serve.
