List of Ingredients
1/2 pound each and all thinly sliced
Cooked ham, Genoa Salami,Mortadella, and capicola
1 pound of american cheese, sliced
2 cups of mayonnaise ( May use less)
2 tsp oregano
1 onion, chopped( I use red)
1/2 head of iceberg lettuce, shredded
2 tomatoes, diced
12 hoagie rolls( torn into small pieces for dipping) Can use French bread too or Italian
Recipe
Tear all of the lunch meats including the cheese into small pieces and place them in a bowl.
In a seperate bowl blend the mayonnaise and oregano, mix the mayonnaise mixture into the meat and cheese mixture a 1/2 cup at a time until all is coated.
Add the onion.
Before serving add the lettuce and tomatoes.
Chill for 2 hours or more.
Serve with torn bread pieces~~
This is very good and you can vary the lunch meats and cheese as well adding or subtracting to fit your likes.
I have also added some choppd kalamata olives( right before serving) Rinse and dry first to remove the brine
