GLAZE:
1/2 c. Grape jelly
1/2 c. Maple syrup
1 c. Brown sugar

Cut each bacon slice into thirds.
Wrap a piece of bacon around each smokie, pressing firmly on the final edge of the bacon to better ensure it does not spring open during baking.
Try not to stretch the bacon when wrapping the sausages. Place the bacon-wrapped smokies onto a non-stick sheet pan, seam side down. Bake 35-45 minutes. If serving right away pour galze over as they bake.If transferring to a crock pot, heat glaze in crockpot while smokies/bacon are crisping. When done transfer smokies to crock pot and stir gently. Keeps warm for hours.
