    Sausage Crostini

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 package JIMMY DEAN sausage; cooked, crumbled and drained.
    • 1 onion; chopped fine
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarellas cheese
    • 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese softened
    • 1/3 cup finely chopped sweet red pepper
    • 1 Tbls, dried basil
    • 1 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary (optional)
    • 1/4 tsp. cayene pepper (optional)
    • 2 loaves french bread sliced 3/4 " thick
    • 4 Tbls. olive oil or melted margarine


    Instructions


    1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, onion, mozzarella, cream cheese, red pepper, basil and rosemary and cayenne. Mix Well.

    2. Place sliced bread on a baking sheet; brush with olive oil or margarine and bake @ 375 until lightly toasted.

    3. Remove from the oven and top each slice with the sausage mixture.

    4. Return to the oven and bake an additional 7-10 minutes until hot.

    5. Serve warm
