Sausage Crostini

List of Ingredients
- 1 package JIMMY DEAN sausage; cooked, crumbled and drained.
- 1 onion; chopped fine
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarellas cheese
- 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese softened
- 1/3 cup finely chopped sweet red pepper
- 1 Tbls, dried basil
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. cayene pepper (optional)
- 2 loaves french bread sliced 3/4 " thick
- 4 Tbls. olive oil or melted margarine
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, onion, mozzarella, cream cheese, red pepper, basil and rosemary and cayenne. Mix Well.
- Place sliced bread on a baking sheet; brush with olive oil or margarine and bake @ 375 until lightly toasted.
- Remove from the oven and top each slice with the sausage mixture.
- Return to the oven and bake an additional 7-10 minutes until hot.
- Serve warm
