    Hot: Sausage Lover's Dip

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb Jimmy Dean sausage
    • 2 Tbls. water
    • 1 (10oz) pkg. frozen chopped spinach thawed and squeezed dry
    • 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese softened
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • chopped green onions
    • 1 can Ro*tel tomatoes and chilies, drained well
    • 1 tsp. garlic salt
    • 1 Loaf unsliced Round Italian or Sourdough bread
    • Paprika
    • Chips or crackers


    Instructions


    1. In a large sause apn cook sausage til done. Drain and return to the pan and add water.Cook 1 more minute

    2. Remove cover and add well drained spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, green onions, tomatoes and garlic.

    3. Stir to blend and cook until cheeses are melted and mixture is warm.

    4. Keep warm over a low heat.

    5. Slice off the top of the bread loaf and hollow out to within 1" of the sides and bottoms.

    6. Fill the loaf with the warm sausage mixture. Sprinkle with the paprika.

    7. Serve with the broken pieces of breal from filling and additional chips or crackers.
