- 2 cups flour
- 1 Tbls. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbls. sugar
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp. dill weed
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
- Cut in the margarine until crumbly.
- Stir in the cheese and dill.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg and milk; pour into the dry ingredients and stir until just moist.
- Batter will be very thick.
- Pour into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake @ 350 for 25-40 minutes.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
