Eggs: Broccoli and Ham Quiche

- 1 unbaked deep dish pie shell
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh broccoli
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbls. flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- chopped green onions
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 1/8 tsp. rosemary
- 1/2 cup cubed cooked ham
Instructions
- Line pie shell with foil and bake @ 450 for 8 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 minutes longer.
- Cool slightly.
- In a sauce pan cook broccoli in water. Drain and rinse with cold water. Pat dry and set aside.
- Toss cheese with the flour. Set aside.
- In a bowl beat the eggs, add milk, onion and seasonings. Mix well.
- Stir in ham, broccoli and cheese mixture.
- Pour into crust.
- BAke @ 350 for 40-45 minutes.
- Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
