    Pastry: Cream Cheese Danishes

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pkg. crescent rolls
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 2 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese
    • 1 egg yolk (save the white)
    • 2 Tbls. rum ( optional)
    • GLAZE:
    • 1/4 cup maragrine
    • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    • 2 Tbls. rum ( optional)


    Instructions


    1. Line the bottom of a 9x13 pan with one pkg of the crescent rolls. Press together at the seams.

    2. Mix together the cream cheese, sugar , yolk, and vanilla.

    3. Spread over the dough.

    4. Top with the remaining cescent rolls.

    5. Brush top of crust with whisked egg white.

    6. Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes.

    7. Top with glaze
