List of Ingredients
- 6 RHODES Texas Rolls, thawed, but still cold
- Cherry (or your favorite) Pie Filling or jam
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tbls. melted margarine
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2-3 Tbls. milk
- 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
Instructions
- Flatten each roll into a 3" circle.
- Place circles on a large baking sheet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cover with greased plastic wrap. Let rise until doubled in size.
- Uncover. With Fingertips, press indentation in the center of each roll.
- Spoon 1 Tbls. filling into the indentation.
- Bake @ 350 for 15-20 minutes. ( Near the end of the baking cycle, add more pie filling if necessary )
- Remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
- In a medium bowl, combine the powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, milk and lemon extract. Mix well
- Brush each roll with icing while still warm.
- When completely cool drizzle with remaining frosting.
- Serves: 6 rolls
