French Toast Cream Cheese Casserole

8 slices of bread
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 dozen eggs, whipped
2 c. milk
1/3 c. maple syrup
Optional:
cinnamon, vanilla, sugar
Recipe
Put 4 slices of bread in 13x9-inch casserole dish.
Cover with cubed cream cheese.
Top with other four slices of bread.
Mix together the eggs milk and syrup.
Pour mixture over bread.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
Serve hot with syrup.
Serve with bacon or sausage for a nice breakfast for 8.
