Hot Pepper Rings

List of Ingredients
Brine:
2 c white vinegar
2 c water
½ c sugar (I use less.)
Turmeric (enough to color brine slightly)
Per pint:
dill
1 clove garlic
1t salt
1t oil
Recipe
Seed whole peppers.
Cut into rings.
Blanch in boiling water approximately 2 minutes.
Cool.
Place garlic in hot jar.
Pack in pepper rings.
Add salt and oil.
Pour hot brine over.
Clean tops, lid, invert for 15 minutes or put in water bath ten minutes.
Allow ¼” to ½” headspace.
