Spaghetti Sauce

Recipe Introduction
This is the greatest and easiest spaghetti sauce. I don't add any meat to the sauce until I open the jars, as sometimes we want Italian sausage, sometimes meat sauce, sometimes meatballs. Try it, you'll love it. Linda (You can freeze it also, in whatever size containers is best for your family.)
List of Ingredients
-24 cups peeled, chopped tomatoes
-2 cups chopped onion
-2 cups chopped celery
-1 cup chopped green pepper (optional)
-½ cup olive oil
-2 tbsp minced garlic
-3 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
-6 tbsp dried oregano
-4 tbsp dried basil
-3 tbsp salt
-2 tbsp pepper
-½ cup sugar
Recipe
-Cook until thick about 2 or 3 hours.
-Makes 8 quarts.
-Process in pressure canner – quarts 20 minutes, pints 25 minutes, 10lb pressure
