    Ham and Cauliflower Casserole

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 Tbls chopped onion
    • 3 Tbls. margarine
    • 2 Tbls. flour
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 medium head of cauliflower cut into florets cooked and drained
    • 2 cups cooked cubed ham
    • 1 can mushroom pieces
    • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • Slatine crackers crumbled
    • margarine


    Instructions


    1. In a sauce oan saute onion in 3 Tbls. margarine til tender.

    2. Stir in flour and salt and pepper til smooth.

    3. Gradually add the milk; and cook and stir for a couple of minutes.

    4. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted

    5. Fold in cooked cauliflower, ham and mushrooms.

    6. Pour into a greased casserole.

    7. In another small pan brown the saltines in some margarine and sprinkle over casserole.

    8. Cover and bake @ 350 for 20 minutes.

    9. Uncover and bake 5-10 minutes more.
