    Poultry: Chicken N Biscuits

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 fryer chicken, cut up and cooked
    • 2 envelopes chicken gravy mix
    • 2 cups water
    • 1 cup chicken broth
    • 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
    • 1 Tbls. minced parsley
    • 2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
    • pepper to taste
    • 5-6 carrots shredded
    • 1 onion cut into small pieces
    • 3 Tbls. cornstarch
    • 1/3 cup cold water
    • Biscuits, either homemade or refrigerated.


    Instructions


    1. In a crockpot, combine the gravy mix, water, broth, garlic, parsley, bouillon and pepper until blended.

    2. Add the carrots, onion and chicken.

    3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.

    4. Increase heat to high .

    5. In a small bowl combine the cornstarch and water and ass to the crock pot; stirring well

    6. Cover and cook for 1 more hour.

    7. Serve over biscuits
