    Teriyaki Beef Sandwiches

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 lb boneless chuck steak
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce
    • 1 Tbls. brown sugar
    • 1 tsp. ground ginger
    • 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
    • 4 tsp. cornstarch
    • 2 Tbls. water
    • 8 French Rolls or Kaiser Rolls
    • thinly sliced green onions


    Instructions


    1. Slice the steak into thin bite size pieces

    2. In the crock pot combine the soy sauce, sugar, ginger and garlic.

    3. Add the steak.

    4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours

    5. Remove meat and set aside

    6. CArefully pour liquid into a bowl and skim off the fat.

    7. Add water to the liquid to measure at least 1 1/2 cups.

    8. Pour into crockpot.

    9. Combine the water and cornstarch and stir into the liquid mixture.

    10. Add meat and heat through.

    11. Serve on rolls with the green onions
