Teriyaki Beef Sandwiches

List of Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless chuck steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbls. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
- 4 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbls. water
- 8 French Rolls or Kaiser Rolls
- thinly sliced green onions
Instructions
- Slice the steak into thin bite size pieces
- In the crock pot combine the soy sauce, sugar, ginger and garlic.
- Add the steak.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours
- Remove meat and set aside
- CArefully pour liquid into a bowl and skim off the fat.
- Add water to the liquid to measure at least 1 1/2 cups.
- Pour into crockpot.
- Combine the water and cornstarch and stir into the liquid mixture.
- Add meat and heat through.
- Serve on rolls with the green onions
