    List of Ingredients




    Bottom Layer:
    -1 cup all-purpose flour
    -1/2 cup butter or margarine
    -1 1/2 cups chocolate syrup
    -1 cup granulated sugar
    -4 large eggs
    Mint Layer:
    -2 cups confectioners' sugar
    -1 tbsp. water
    -1/2 cup butter
    -1/2 tsp. peppermint extract

    Recipe



    -Heat oven 350 degrees F..
    -Spray a 13x9 pan with cooking spray or coat with butter or margarine lightly.
    -In a large bowl beat the flour, sugar,butter, eggs and syrup until smooth.
    -Pour into the prepared pan.
    -Bake 25-30 minutes or until it springs back when lightly touched.
    -Cool completely.
    -Beat together the mint layer ingredients until it is mixed
    well and creamy.
    -When the cake is cooled, spread the mint cream on
    the cake.
    -Chill.
    -Serve in squares and drizzle each serving with chocolate
    syrup.
