Lemon Love Affair Bars

List of Ingredients

Base:
-1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
-2 cups crushed corn flakes
-1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
-1/3 cup chopped nuts
-1/2 cup softened butter

Filling:
-1 small box lemon pudding (NOT INSTANT)
-1 can sweetened condensed milk
-1 teaspoon lemon extract

Frosting:
-1 cup confectioners' sugar
-1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
-3 to 5 teaspoons water




Recipe

BASE:
-In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients until crumbly.
-Reserve 1 cup for topping, press remainder in the bottom of a greased 15 x 10-inch pan.

Filling:
-Combine pudding, sweetened condensed milk and lemon extract; mix well.
-Spread over crust, then sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
-Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 30 minutes.

Frosting:
-Combine confectioners' sugar, lemon extract and water.
-Drizzle over warm bars.
-Cool completely and store in refrigerator.
