    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 (10 oz)bag mint chocolate chips
    • 2 cups chocolate wafer cookie crumbs
    • 1/4 cup butter; soft
    • 1 Tbls. milk
    • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla
    • 1 drop green food colr
    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1/3 cup butter


    Instructions


    1. Lightly grease a 9 inch square bakibg pan.
    2. In a 2 qt sauce pan, melt1/2 cup butter and 1/4 cup chips over a low heat, stirring constantly.
    3. Remove from heat and stir in cookie crumbs, until well mixed; oress into pan & refrigerate for about 10 minutes.
    4. Meanwhile beat 1/4 cup butter, milk, extract, vanilla and food color with mixer on medium speed until well blended..
    5. On low speed, blend in the powdered sugar until smooth.
    6. Spread the peppermint mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
    7. Melt remaining chips and 1/3 cup butter over low heat until melted.Spread evenly over the peppermint mixture.
    8. Refrigerate until chocolate is set. (10-15 minutes)
    9. Cut into bars and chill.
