    -2 cups packed brown sugar
    -2 cups all-purpose flour
    -1/4 cup butter OR margarine - softened
    -1 tsp. baking powder
    -3/4 tsp. salt
    -1 cup milk
    -1 egg
    -1 tsp. vanilla extract
    -1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
    -1/2 cup butterscotch morsels
    -1/4 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
    -1/2 cup chopped walnuts - optional

    Recipe



    -In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar and flour.
    -Cut in butter until the mixture resembles course crumbs.
    -Remove 1 cup of the mixture; set aside.
    -To remaining mixture, stir in baking powder and salt.
    -Using a fork, lightly beat in the milk, egg, and vanilla.
    -Continue beating until a smooth batter forms.
    -Pour batter into a lightly greased 13" X 9" X 2" baking pan.
    -Sprinkle reserved dry mixture over batter.
    -In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; sprinkle evenly over batter.
    -Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes, making sure top doesn't burn.
    -If top gets too browned, cover with aluminum foil and continue baking.
    -Cool completely before cutting.
