    CAKE:
    1/4 lb. butter
    2 cups flour
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 tbsp. baking soda
    1egg
    1 tbsp. vanilla

    TOPPING:
    1 cup finely chopped Heath candy bars
    1/4 cup pecans or almonds, chopped

    CAKE:
    Blend the flour, butter and the sugars.
    Reserve 1/2 cup of this mixture and set aside.
    To the remaining, add the buttermilk, soda, egg and vanilla.
    Blend well.
    Pour into a buttered and floured 10 x 14 x 2 cake pan

    TOPPING:
    Before baking the cake, mix the chopped Heath bars with the pecans (or almonds if you prefer) and the 1/2 cup reserved mixture.
    Sprinkle over the top of the batter.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Suggestion:
    Can use English Toffee Bits rather than the actual Heath bars.
    They taste very similar and are easier to work with!
