- 1 chocolate cake mix
- 1 jar butterscotch or caramel ice cream topping
- 1 8 oz carton frozen cool whip thawed
- 3 Butterfinger candy bars crushed
Instructions
- Bake cake according to package directions in a greased 9 x 13 pan.
- Cool for 30 minutes. Using the end of a plastic spoon poke holes in the warm cake.
- Evenly pour the ice cream topping over the cake.
- Cool completely
- Spread with whipped topping; sprinkle with the butterfingers.
- Refigerate several hours before serving.
