    Butterscotch Chocolate Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 chocolate cake mix
    • 1 jar butterscotch or caramel ice cream topping
    • 1 8 oz carton frozen cool whip thawed
    • 3 Butterfinger candy bars crushed


    Instructions


    1. Bake cake according to package directions in a greased 9 x 13 pan.

    2. Cool for 30 minutes. Using the end of a plastic spoon poke holes in the warm cake.

    3. Evenly pour the ice cream topping over the cake.

    4. Cool completely

    5. Spread with whipped topping; sprinkle with the butterfingers.

    6. Refigerate several hours before serving.
