    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. confectioners' sugar
    3/4 c. corn starch, sifted
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans

    Icing
    2 T. butter, softened
    2 c. confectioners' sugar
    4 T. lemon juice

    Recipe



    Cookies:
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add sifted cornstarch and flour. Mix well. Form into tiny balls. Press bottom of each ball into chopped nuts using your thumb and two fingers. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown. Let cool

    Icing:
    Blend butter, sugar and juice.
    Swirl a little of this icing mixture on top of each cookie.

    Makes 8 dozen cookies
