Toffee Chunk Brownie Cookies

1 cup (2 sticks) butter
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped chocolate-covered toffee barsRecipe
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Melt butter and chocolate in a large saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Stir sugar into chocolate mixture until smooth.
Stir in eggs until well blended.
Stir in vanilla until smooth.
Stir in flour and salt just until mixed.
Fold in chopped toffee bars.
Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough 1 1/2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie seets.
Bake 12 minutes or until just set.
Let cookies stand on cookie sheets for 5 minutes.
Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
