White Air Cookies

List of Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- pinch of cream of tartar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 (12oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Red and Green Sugar Sprinkles (for Christmas time)
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, beat egg whites, salt and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in the chips 1/2 cup at a time.
- Drop by level tablespoon onto a greased baking sheets.
- Sprinkle lightly with sugar.
- Bake @ 300 for 20-25 minutes or until meringues are dry and crisp.
- Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes.
- Remove to wire racks; cool completeley
- Store in air tight containers.
- * Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies
