    One 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
    1 cup (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
    One 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
    1/2 cup biscuit baking mix
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup nuts, chopped
    Vanilla ice cream

    Bake pastry shell 10 minutes at 375 degrees; remove from oven.
    Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees.

    In small saucepan over low heat, melt chips with butter. In large mixing bowl, beat chocolate mixture with condensed milk, biscuit mix, eggs and vanilla until smooth.
    Add nuts.
    Pour into baked pastry shell.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until center is set.
    Serve warm or at room temperature with ice cream. Refrigerate leftovers.
    Makes one 9-inch pie
