    Caramel Pecan Ice Cream Dessert

    1-3/4 cups flour
    1 cup chopped pecans
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1 cup quick oats
    1 cup melted butter or margarine
    2 cups caramel ice cream topping
    2 quarts vanilla ice cream

    Recipe



    Combine flour, pecans, sugar, oats and butter; mix well and spread into a thin layer on a large cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Stir during baking time. Remove from oven and crumble into crumbs. Press half of mixture into 9-by-13-inch dish. Drizzle half of caramel over crumb crust. Spoon ice cream evenly over crust. Drizzle remaining caramel over ice cream and top with remaining crumbs. Cover and freeze until ready to serve (allow at least 2 hours.)
