    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 cups sugar
    • 2 egg whites
    • 1/3 cup water
    • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract


    Instructions


    1. In a heavy sauce pan or double boiler, combin ethe sugar, egg whites, water and cream of tartar.
    2. With a hand mixer beat on low for 1 minute.
    3. Continue beating on low until frosting reaches 160 degrees. ( about 8-10 minutes ).
    4. Pour into a large mixing bowl and add the vanilla.
    5. Beat on high until frosting forms stiff peaks, about 7 minutes.
