French Vanilla Ice Cream

List of Ingredients
- 12 egg yolks
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 qt. half-n-half
- 2 Tbls. vanilla extract
- Whole Milk
Instructions
- Blend together all ingredients except for the whole milk.
- Put into a sauce pan and cook on low until the mixture coats the spoon; stirring constantly.
- Cool for 2-4 hours.
- Pour into a 1 gallon freezer cylinder.
- Fill with whole milk to the fill line.
- Freeze as directed.
- If you like a firmer ice cream, freeze for a few hours before serving.
