    1 1/2 to 2 lbs. Top Round Steak, trimmed and cubed
    2 TB vegetable oil
    3/4 cup dry brown gravy mix
    4 cups water
    1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
    1/4 cup A1 sauce
    1/4 cup onion powder
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup red wine vinegar
    1 TB and 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    2 tsp. salt
    1 cup rice
    3 to 4 bay leaves
    ground black pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
    Add the cubed meat and brown well.
    Remove meat.
    Add the gravy mix, tomato sauce, A1 sauce and water; bring to boil, stirring constantly.
    Stir in the onion powder, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, salt and ground black pepper to taste.
    Stir in rice.
    Return the meat to the pan.
    Add bay leaves, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for one hour, or until meat it tender.
    Remove bay leaves.
