    List of Ingredients




    2 pounds ground beef
    2 2/3 cups French's french fried onions, divided
    1 tsp garlic salt
    1/2 tsp ground black pepper
    1 tbsp butter or margarine(if using mushrooms)
    1 can mushrooms , optional
    2 envelopes brown gravy
    2 1/4 cup water
    1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

    Recipe



    Combine ground beef, 1 1/3 cups fried onion, salt and pepper in large bowl.
    Shape into patties., but don't get them too thick.
    Heat large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add patties; cook about 20 minutes or until browned on both sides and juices run clear.
    Transfer to platter - keep warm.
    Pour off drippings from pan.
    Melt butter in same skillet over medium high heat.
    Sauté mushrooms;
    Mix both packets of gravy in one cup water.
    Add to mushrooms.
    Stir in remaining water, Worcestershire .
    Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
    Return patties to skillet.
    Sprinkle in remaining onions and cook until heated through.

    Serve with hot smashed potatoes or noodles!!!
