List of Ingredients
-1 pound elbow macaroni
-1/2 pound bacon, cut into pieces
-1 small onion, diced
-1 can (32 ounces) tomato juice
-1/2 cup ketchup
-Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
-Boil elbow macaroni until tender, uncovered (about 10 minutes).
-In a skillet add bacon pieces with diced onion over medium heat until bacon is crisp.
-Drain water from macaroni.
-Put back in pan, then add cooked bacon and onion to the macaroni.
-Add can of tomato juice and ketchup; salt and pepper to taste.
-Put on low heat to warm it.
-Makes 10 to 12 servings.
