Chicken Potato Pie

- 4 1/2 cups frozen hash browns thawed
- 6 Tbls. margarine mlelted
- salt and pepper to taste
- FILLLING:
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
- 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 2 cups milk
- 3 cups cooked cubed chicken
- 1 cup of peas thawed
Instructions
- In a bowl mix together the potatoes, margarine, salt and pepper.
- Press into a greased 9" pie pan and up the sides to form a crust.
- In a sauce pan saute the onion in margarine.
- Add the flour, bouillon, worcestershire and basil; stir in the milk.
- Bring to a boil and cook til thick; stirring
- Add the chicken and peas.
- Spoon gently into the potato crust.
- Bake @ 375 for 30-35 minutes til crust is golden brown.
