    Potatoes and Peas Au Gratin

    List of Ingredients


    • 6 slices bacon, cur into pieces
    • 1 onion chopped
    • 4 cups sliced, peeled, cooked poatoes
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 (10oz) pkg frozen peas, thawed
    • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1/2 cup mayonaise
    • 1/2 cup milk


    Instructions


    1. In a skillet cook bacon until crisp.
    2. Remove with a slotted spoon and discard all but 1 Tbls. of the drippings.
    3. In the 1 Tbls. of drippings, saute the onion until tender.
    4. LAyer with the potaoes, aslt and pepper, peas and 1 cup of cheese and bacon.
    5. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
    6. Mix together the mayo and milk until smooth.
    7. Pour over thhe bacon.
    8. Sprinkle with remaining cheese
    9. Remove from heat and let sit 5 minutes covered before serving.
