Potatoes and Peas Au Gratin

List of Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, cur into pieces
- 1 onion chopped
- 4 cups sliced, peeled, cooked poatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (10oz) pkg frozen peas, thawed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonaise
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- In a skillet cook bacon until crisp.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and discard all but 1 Tbls. of the drippings.
- In the 1 Tbls. of drippings, saute the onion until tender.
- LAyer with the potaoes, aslt and pepper, peas and 1 cup of cheese and bacon.
- Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
- Mix together the mayo and milk until smooth.
- Pour over thhe bacon.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese
- Remove from heat and let sit 5 minutes covered before serving.
