Veggie: All Gone Broccoli Salad

List of Ingredients
2 to 4 bunches fresh broccoli flowerettes (cut up and freeze the stalks for soups or casseroles!)
1 lg. or 2 med. purple onions
1 lb. bacon
8 to 10 hard boiled eggs
1 lb. bag (or more to taste) shredded cheddar cheese (not the finely grated kind - the chunky kind)
1 to 2 bottles buttermilk ranch dressingRecipe
Wash and cut up broccoli flowerettes into bite-size pieces and chop onion.
Fry bacon until crisp and crumble into bite size pieces. Peel and chop hard boiled eggs as well.
Combine all ingredients into a large bowl and add as much cheese as desired.
Add ranch dressing and mix thoroughly.
This salad tastes better after it sits in fridge and soaks up dressing for about half a day and all the flavors seep together.
May need to add more dressing if too dry before serving.
