List of Ingredients
- 1 chuck roast ( 2-3 lbs )
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp. rosemary
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 3-4 whole peppercorns
- 8 kaiser or french rolls
Instructions
- Place the roast in a crock pot.
- Add the water, soy sauce and seasonings.
- Cook on high for 5-6 hours or low 8-9 hours.
- Remove meat and shred.
- Remove peppercorns and bay leaf and discard.
- Skim off fat from the broth.
- Replace meat into crock pot.
- Serve on rolls and use broth for dipping.
