    List of Ingredients


    • 1 chuck roast ( 2-3 lbs )
    • 2 cups water
    • 1/2 cup soy sauce
    • 1 tsp. rosemary
    • 1 tsp. thyme
    • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 3-4 whole peppercorns
    • 8 kaiser or french rolls


    Instructions


    1. Place the roast in a crock pot.

    2. Add the water, soy sauce and seasonings.

    3. Cook on high for 5-6 hours or low 8-9 hours.

    4. Remove meat and shred.

    5. Remove peppercorns and bay leaf and discard.

    6. Skim off fat from the broth.

    7. Replace meat into crock pot.

    8. Serve on rolls and use broth for dipping.
