    Mom's Italian Beef

    List of Ingredients


    • 5 lb roast ( Sirloin Tip)
    • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
    • 1 1/2 Tbls. oregeno
    • 1 1/2 Tbls. salt
    • 2 Tbls. Sweet Basil
    • 1 Bay Leaf
    • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
    • 2 -3 garlic buds
    • 1 1/2 cups water


    Instructions


    1. Place meat in a roasting pan with a lid.

    2. Add all seasonings with the water and place in a 325 over for 3 hours

    3. Remove and slice thin

    4. Replace in juice

    5. Serve on french bread. Dip in juices

    6. This is better if made 3-4 days ahead of time and refigerated, reheated and served.
