Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

List of Ingredients
- 2 Qts. chicken broth
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3 cups cooked wild rice
- 2 cups cooked, cubed chicken
Instructions
- In a large sauce pan combine the first 9 ingredients.
- Bring to a boil and simmer 30 minutes.
- In a large soup kettle, melt the margaine and stir in the flour until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in the broth mixture.
- Bring to a boil and cook until thick (about 2 minutes)
- Add rice and chicken; heat through.
- Serve immediately
